Who we are
The founders of icognium, Pavlos Krontiras and Barbara Sigala PhD, have over 35 years of combined experience in the technology space, and almost 60 of overall combined professional experience. Prior to establishing icognium, Mr. Krontiras and Dr. Sigala ran a successful consultancy based in London, UK (Excogis Ltd) for over a decade, working with leading global organisations such as:
- WPP – London, UK
- John Lewis & Partners – London, UK
- Vodafone – London, UK
- Galleries Lafayette – Paris, France
- Wehkamp – Zwolle,The Netherlands
- Ellos (Redcats Group) – Götenborg, Sweden
Shortly after returning to Greece following 30 years of academic studies and professional careers in the USA and UK, Mr. Krontiras and Dr. Sigala established icognium to continue their success with a new focus on Digital Transformation and Cloud Technologies.
Mr. Krontiras holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Brown University in Providence, RI USA.
Dr. Sigala holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Bio-Chemistry and a PhD in Bio-Chemistry from Imperial College in London, UK.

We are also Google Cloud Partners with extensive experience in delivering solutions leveraging the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
icognium’s legal form is a Greek I.K.E. (private company limited by shares) registered in Athens, Greece.
When we are
icognium was established in March 2021 and has been profitable since Day 1 of operations.

Although icognium’s registered address is in Athens, Greece, our team, our partners and our clients are distributed across the EMEA region and beyond. The transformation of working practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the accelerated development of remote/hybrid working solutions and cultures, enable us to provide high quality services at competitive prices.
