Implementation
When clients need specific expertise or experience to lead the implementation of their Business Change or Technology programmes, we are their partner of choice. Employing Agile Methodologies we deliver measurable value quickly and often, minimising time-to-market for your innovations.
The biggest concern organisations have about any project is their Return On Investment (ROI), or the benefit the project will provide the organisation compared to its cost. Both benefits and costs can be quantified in many ways, e.g. wages/fees of project team, fines imposed due to non-compliance, reputational damage etc.
The implementation team can make the difference between a successful or a failed project and we can help ensure that your project is a success.
Our approach
When leading the implementation of a client project, we focus on the following 3 areas:
- Getting the right team in place – Assembling a group of individuals with great skills is not enough. The skills of the individuals must complement each other and must provide the necessary coverage for the entire scope of the project. In addition, the team must be able to work together and be high performing. This requires attention to the personalities of the individuals as well as the dynamic of the group. By assembling the right team, we can ensure the quality of the implementation and the success of the project. If you do not have the necessary resources available, we can help you recruit them or we can provide the resources to supplement your existing team.
- Agility – Using an Agile Methodology allows us to constantly monitor the progress of the implementation and identify any potential blockers early. This in turn allows us to quickly respond and remove or resolve those blockers and ensure the implementation team can continue delivering at pace. Delivering results translates directly into value added to your organisation.
- Communication & Engagement – We work closely with your stakeholders and involve them in key aspects of the implementation in order to ensure that we deliver value for your orgnisation. There are two aspects of the Agile Methodology that helps us achieve this; story prioritisation and frequent iterations. A “story” is a distinct piece or work to be completed as part of the implementation and involving the stakeholders in their prioritisation ensures that we focus on what is most important and valuable to your organisation. An “iteration” is a cycle in the implementation process with a defined time frame, typically 2-4 weeks each. At the end of each iteration, we review and evaluate the work that has been completed thus far. These frequent iterations alow us to constantly monitor, re-evaluate and if needed adjust and re-prioritise work to ensure that we always deliver value and avoid wasting time and money.
